The Abbey now has a second hand book shop in the Dower House, open and staffed by volunteers every Saturday through November 2021 and in February and March 2022, from 11am to 3pm. Closed in December and January.
At the same time (11-3pm) there will be Short Talks on the history of the site, so a double reason to visit this important heritage. We also welcome contributions of books in a reasonable condition. They can be delivered at the above times. English Heritage are seeking more volunteers during this winter and into next year, to join our expanding team.
