Meet The Lamberhurst Parish Council
Elected representatives of the parish, who are here to serve the community.

Chairman
Cllr. Graham White
"I am a man of Kent and moved to Lamberhurst with my family 8 years ago following my retirement from a career of running large multi-national manufacturing companies.
I have used the opportunity afforded by my retirement to contribute to the excellent community that we enjoy in our beautiful Parish serving on the committee of the Bonfire Society since 2014 and chairing it for the last 5 years, alongside helping to stage various other events such as the street party celebration we held to celebrate HM the Queen’s 90th birthday in 2016.
Since 2017, I have been involved in the development and production of the Lamberhurst Neighbourhood Development Plan; which has been made possible through a fantastic collaborative effort of many people across our Parish. My time as Chair of the Neighbourhood Plan Steering group over the last 3 years has enabled me to understand the needs and concerns of a broad cross-section of parishioners; which are reflected in the plan, following a number of public consultations and an independent examination the Plan passed a Public Referendum in September 2021and now has legal status as a guide to planning decisions.
I am on the Parish Council so that I can help implement the goals and targets we set out in the Development Plan particularly the projects that were set out in the community action plan alongside contributing to the excellent work that the Parish Council undertakes on our behalf."

Parish Clerk & Responsible Financial OfficerTracie Dodd - Clerk
"Tracie joined the Parish Council in March 2020, taking over the Parish Clerk role from the long serving Barbara Uren. With Tracie's exemplary professional experience and finance skills, she will additionally be taking a dual role and standing also as LPC's RFO (Responsible Financial Officer) taking over from the long standing, John Francis. Although these are big shoes to fill, Tracie is not phased in the slightest, and welcomes the challenge with excitement and commitment. Tracie and her family have lived in the village for 25 years and her career has mainly been in finance and the Public Sector including acting as Bursar/Finance Officer at a number of local schools; making her perfect as Parish Clerk." |
Cllr Samantha Nicholas![]() "I have lived in the village for 20+ years and I have a passion for the natural environment and local community.
I have been working at the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty for 10 years; which drives my passion for ensuring our local common lands can be maintained to a better standard, with the help of our local community and Parish commonland group. I love getting involved with local community activities from being secretary of the Lamberhurst Pantomime Society; helping at our lovely church, tap dance groups run by Katherine Mansi and Amanda Ledger; and supporting the local Bonfire Society. I lead the village Speed Watch campaign and continue to work towards better traffic calming throughout the Parish. I am also on the steering committee for our Neighbourhood Development Plan group and help our village make important decisions that will shape our Parish in the future." Of the various groups I’m involved in planning is the most challenging.
I was very proud to spearhead new facilities including the new playground sports wall and youth shelter in the playing fields, I’ve lived in the village for over 20 years, I run my business from here, I have raised my 3 sons here and can say hand-on-heart that I love this place!!! I have had some involvement with the Parish Council since November 2020, on a co-opted basis, including in relation to planning issues. Retirement gives me more time than I had before, and I would like to get further involved in village matters. Serving on the Parish Council would be a good way to do that. A bit of background about me – I have lived on Furnace Lane for almost 25 years. I have been married for 39 years and my wife and I have three grown up children. I was a partner at a law firm in London until I retired in 2018. I have no political allegiances. Tel: 01892 891467 Em: tim@cornick.org.uk |

I don't profess to be an expert in all parish council matters. However I bring a wealth of knowledge and know-how to keep the Parish up-to-date with the latest media communications from our parish council and from our borough council. I also work with our church parish office to include content in our local parish mag on our website and I strive to create engaging community events such as the Christmas Raffle, Time Capsule Anagram competition, the Photography competition and the bi-annual Litter Picks. I have also assisted over the years in hosting the Duck Race, Hopping Do, Queen's Jubilee street party and served on our Primary School PTA for 2 years. I am married, a Mum of two and I work full time, yet I try my best to make time to contribute to our community." Tel: 07376 369699 Email: cllrbeeby@outlook.com Cllr.
