Cellarhead Brewery CompanyCellar Head Brewing Company is an award-winning independent microbrewery founded by Chris and Julia McKenzie in 2017. They were joined David Berry, former brewer at The Old Dairy Brewery in Tenterden and Tonbridge Brewery in East Peckham, who was ready to don that Head Brewer cap and get the chance to brew his own recipes for the world to enjoy!
They use traditional brewing methods, the finest of English grown malts and hops and our own strain of historic Sussex live yeast to produce a varied range of beers focused on drinkability and quality. David’s passion is English grown hops, especially lesser-known and long-forgotten varieties. He showcases these hops with our monthly-changing Single Hop Pale series and Small Batch specials. With the latest trend of New World grown hops threatening to sweep the UK beer market, our beers are proving that home grown varieties match and often surpass those flavour profiles in a very refined manner. |
