Thank you to all of you that turned out to vote in the referendum on the 16th September.
The result was YES 321 NO 27. This means that the Plan will now go the TWBC Council for a vote to "make" the plan and it to have formal legal status and be used in making planning decisions. Thank you again for your fantastic support which is much appreciated. Graham White Chair, LNDP Steering Group. For those unable to attend the Lamberhurst development plan presentation on September 2nd in the memorial hall. The presentation can be found HERE
Following approval by Tunbridge Wells Borough Council’s Cabinet the LNDP will be put to a referendum on Thursday September 16th 2021.
Any registered eligible voter in the Parish is entitle to vote and the question posed on the ballot paper will be “Do you want Tunbridge Wells Borough Council to use the Lamberhurst Neighbourhood Development Plan to help decide planning applications in the Lamberhurst Neighbourhood Area” The LNDP was written with the help and input from a broad cross section of the Parish community with the assistance of professional planning advisors. A detailed residents survey was undertaken in the summer of 2018 followed by a series of public workshops in the autumn to scope a Parish Vision and the polices to guide appropriate development in the Parish. Full Details of the plan can be found HERE. |
