Parish websites, particularly in the UK, must adhere to several key legal and regulatory requirements. The main compliance laws cover website accessibility, data protection (GDPR), and transparency in local government. This means that our current village website does not meet these standards. The current website has been supported by local volunteers and Parish Council. In 2026 we will be transferring to a new website provider which can ensure that we are compliant. This will take sometime to manage the transition and we will endeavour to maintain community information on the new website. The current website has mainly been supported by volunteers so we want to thank those that have contributed to it over the years especially John Gunner and we look forward to more community support in the future. We therefore need your help, if you are if you are a society, group or business please can you let us know if there are any changes to your contact details that are shown on the Lamberhurst Village website, so that we can ensure a smooth transition.
