  Lamberhurst Christmas Charity Raffle

2020 has been an incredibly tiring year as we have all had to adjust our lives, reset our priorities and look after our physical and mental well-being; and some of us have had to care for others, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As the calendar year draws to an end, it is time to reflect on how far we have come. Some of us have been furloughed and lived with the uncertainty of income, some of us have been stressed about the survival of our own businesses, some of us have been forced to work from home, while home schooling children and living with the mundane cycle of living and working in the same space, some of us have lost loved ones, some of us have fought Coronavirus head-on; while others have lived in fear of catching this deadly virus. We have all had our lives disrupted this year.

At Lamberhurst Parish Council we want to do something that will give back to our community and to those businesses who have remained open (when possible) and provided services to us.  We want to give back to our pubs, coffee shop, vehicle repair garage and village shop, who have worked so hard to adapt their establishments and working conditions, to conform to the latest Government guidelines, often without reasonable notice, and whose staff continue to volunteer to cover shifts, knowing they are putting their own health at risk. All with a common goal to continually provide a service to our community for today, and for the future, when this virus is brought under control. We want to give back to people in our communities and want to provide some festive cheer and reward for what has been a tough year for everyone; whatever the personal circumstance.

Raffle Tickets no longer for sale.

​The campaign ended on 27th December 2020 

It’s time to support our local businesses by entering the village raffle prize draw; 

at least 2 prizes will be given away each week of December.

Prizes are £20, £40 & £60 vouchers

to be redeemed at our local village pubs, coffee shop, vehicle repair shop & convenience store
up to 30th June 2021.

At least 2 lucky winners will be drawn at 6pm
on Sunday 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th December;
via a live Facebook event in the Lamberhurst Village Closed Group. 

Any undrawn tickets will remain in the draw for the duration of the campaign.  So good luck and remember you've got to buy a ticket to be in with a chance of winning a £60, £40 or £20 gift voucher to spend in participating businesses in Lamberhurst!  

All profits will be donated to the
